Just so you know, this is how your hair looks when you wake up and it's half curly, half puffed out and you think you'll just flat iron it a touch and suddenly it's half straight half curly and horrible and it's also raining out and there is nothing you can do. My 7th grade English teacher would hate that run-on sentence, but it was a run-on kind of hair disaster.
When I realized it was raining out, I thought I'd have to postpone this little shoot, since I have no good places to shoot indoors (for now!...). HOWEVERRRR I forgot this adorable umbrella was hiding on my coat rack. So it all worked out, the end.
This outfit was inspired by one of my fave style bloggers, Twenties Girl Style. I love her effortless looks and kinda bohemian vibes. She's also located in Eastern WA in a town I lived briefly in growing up. Check her out!
Her version of this look is so much better than mine (I think), but I had to try it since I had all these pieces in my closet. I think it'd be better with some necklaces or a scarf, now that I'm looking at pictures. Also, I wish I had a burgundy chunky sweater like hers, because this red sweater (as cozy as it is) is a strange shape. It's like, slightly baggy but not enough.
I'm so good at descriptions it's scary, right?
